The stickers I used on the rims are these:

I didn't have more purple paint, so the cowl was painted in matte Black for the time being. The cowl isn't finished though, it needs one more round with bondo, to get the last of the imperfections.

As some people may have noticed in another thread, The bike hasn't been running like it should.
https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f3...s-idle-153495/

But, on my way home, doing about 80mph on the highway, I suddenly had an involuntary weight reduction, as my fuse cover located under the throttle suddenly flew off. ( the plastic had cracked around the fastening screw)
So as a temporary solution, until I can get hold of another. I made one out of plexi.

Whats been done this Winter is this:
New Tires (Michelin Pilot Road 4
New Brake Fluid (Dot 5.1)
Oil and Filter (Motul 10-40 Mineral)
Solo Seat cover painted Uranus Purple
Emgo "Carbon" mirrors
Still waiting for the Brakelight Relay that's located on the front brake lever.
Vinyl-wrapped part of the frame black.

So it's been a quiet winter this time... :)

Looking great!

After i powder coated my rims white, i realized that keeping them clean is an absolute pain. I found that after giving them a good clean, try using a decent wax on them. Break dust and road grime is easier to pull off them when they've been waxed.

More upfront work, less cleaning on a regular basis!

Thanks.. Keeping them clean is an absolute PITA :icon_lol:
But it's totally worth it I think.. Because they look so much better.

The local detailing people around here recommended this wax for the rims:
Insulator Wax » Collinite

So when I get some spare time I'm going to apply the wax on the rims.
