Compatible fairings?
Hey guys and gals!
(first post ever as a proud cbr owner!!)
So I have acquired a 95cbr 600 f3, purple/yellow.
It runs fine, but some fairings are damaged.
Some I can plastic weld together, others I will be replacing.
So what fairings can I use that will fit my bike? F2? F4?
All years of F3's?
Also, has anyone on here painted their bike with bed liner?
If you have shoot me a message, I have a couple questions

welcome to the F3 Family!
As for your questions. I am fairly certain that the F3 farrings from newer years will fit just fine.
Be weary of stuff bought online through chinese wholesalers, often the injection molding they use is not 100% accurate and there have been a number of board members who have experienced some issues with them. On the other hand, there are some good aftermarket plastics you can turn too.
It really depends on if you want a factory look or not? Otherwise, source out replacement plastics and have it painted and decaled however you want.
F4i front fairings are an option if your looking for something a little more modern, the RR tail can be worked to fit the sub-frame of the F3 with a little bit of jigging.
Others have gone to marry Yamaha fairings onto the stock F3 fairings, tails and underside exhausts. All requires a bit of cutting, experimenting and frustration of course.
It comes down to the look you want, the budget you have and the time to do the work.
good luck!
