Anyone know what the color codes are for the 97-98 F3's? I am going to order a new tail fairing and center tail piece but I haven't the slightest idea what "type" they are. My bike is a 96 with 98 fairings and it is the black with the burgandy tail. How can I find this out so that I can order the correct color if it is still offered.

 

I know I've seen the colour code somewhere, think its at the back on the right frame rail

 

That would be great except that I would end up with the wrong part altogether since my bike is a 96 with factory 98 fairings including the colors.

 

Yeah sorry, duh, only thing I can think of is maybe contact a local dealer, probably have the codes you want. there is a code for the part on the back of the fairing panels, It don't identifi the colour, but it may be a start for a reference point.
Paint design & even the decals seem to vary a lot from country to country, you guys seem to have a lot of two/three tone stuff happening for the F3's, so not much in the way of reference material in the manuals.
Code for mine (98 model) Color/NH-1 Code NH1N, mines Black & Silver. not that its the colour you want, but it gives you an idea of wot to look for.
