Default Clutch wont Disengage

So i took out my bike yesterday to try to see if its riding well and as i back it out of the garage, my clutch wont engage or disengage. Now i have new levers and new clutch cable and it is pulling the lever on the right side of the bike so it looks like its pulling. The lever doesn't feel firm though like it did last season. it feels very loose which is my worry. I didn't have any clutch problems last season when i put my bike away other than the cable starting to get loose since it has never been changed.

When i put the rear stand on, it shifts fine and i can go through all the gears but when its on the ground where there is resistance, i cant get it to move with out stalling.

For additional information, my bike's motor sat for a couple of months with out oil because i did have some oil cooler problems and it was too cold to deal with in mid january.

this bike has been a pain in my ***... it was all fine last season and now problem after problem this season

More than likely you're going to have to remove clutch cover to see what's going on. Then report what you find.

When its up on the stands, is the rear wheel rotating in neutral?, most bikes do that anyways, but can you put your hand on the wheel & stop moving. If not, then this could go along way in explaining why its its stalling off the stands. Try adjusting the clutch play. Not at the bar end but on the adjuster on the right hand side of the motor (then take up the relative slack at the bar end if you need to). Could also be that you plates have binded slightly after you drained the oil & getting the temp up & using the clutch may free them up.
The fact that you have replaced the cable & lever is to much of a coincidence & I reckon the cable has stretched a tad. Good luck.

Sounds like somehow the clutch plates might have bonded together from being without oil. I would pull the cover to check things out for sure
