Choke seems to do nothing
Just bought a used F3 its running real good once it's warm, startup is a little boggy
I've noticed when I pull choke down it does nothing, usually i have to start it 5-6 times till it stays on very puttery , normally here you'd pull the choke down and it would rev up to warm up but in this case the choke doesnt seem to do anything
Is there something I can adjust ? Anyone seen something like this before ?
I increased my idle a bit so its sitting at about 1700 to make warmup a little easier

choke not working
hi
i have a cbr600f3, 97, it may just be the choke cable needs tightening. on mine i thought the same thing but after around halfway the cable slack is taken up and resistance is felt.......this is the true choke kicking in.
looks like the tank n air filters have to come off to access it so maybe this is why its overlooked!?

The little tab that pulls the choke was OUT when followed the cable
I just had to snap it back into place
I posted up a pick of what it looks like , you have to unbolt the tank, then open the air box, remove air filter, and remove another part of the airbox to get to it
Was not too bad, I had somone hold the Tank so I didnt take it all the way off
