Arrow Cheaper Fairings anyone?

I got a good look at my stock F3 fairings & the race set today and thought, "it wouldn't be too hard to make a mold for these and make them out of fiberglass." My dad and I know alot about fiberglass because we make airplane parts from it.. Basically i was wondering how many people would be willing to buy a set of fairings that are made in the U.S.A. that actually fit lol. I'm not too sure on prices yet (cheaper than OEM for sure), i'm just trying to get a feel on how many people are interested..so leave a comment or two saying if it's a stupid idea or a good one. Thanks!

I'd like to see a good cheaper set made in the US. My bike right now doesn't have any fairings. Where are you located? Just to get an idea on shipping costs. Thanks!!

Just south of Nashville, Tn. All this is still in the "idea" stage. Going to find out how many people actually like the idea. I often come across people saying that the Hong Kong fairings are ok, but you have to do drilling/bending to make it fit. I'm trying to come up with a cheap, yet fully functional fairing set for everyone. If my idea actually works, i'll probably expand the variety of fiarings like the rr and F4i etc..

How would you deal with the "push-pins" that are used on the tail sides? I never used my Hong Kong fairings because of them not having those pin and every damn slot/socket didn't match up well. Those were fiberglass so I'm just givin you a heads up on what they did wrong.

i could be interested as well, for the right price. f4i and rr fairings tailored to go on a f3 would be very interesting to me.

Thanks for the responses guys! I'm thinking this idea might actually be worth it. And Offspring, i was saying i would make the rr/F4i plastics for the rr/F4i. Didn't mean that i would try to get them to fit the F3. But i'll think on that too! As far as the push pins, i'll have to take a good look at it tonight or tomorrow Once my finger heals from the quick meeting it had with the grinder, i'll get to work lol
