CBR600F3... stator or regulator rectifier?
OK i have a cbr600f3 with about 30k miles on it. i really have minimal knowledge about motorcycles as this is my first.
i know not to jump a motorcycle, but i did it anyways
lol
now my bike will only run for a short period of time before dying when i pull the clutch in. while riding it when i know the battery's charge is too low i will lose power when pullling the throttle a little excessive. if i keep the fuel intake screw turned up(keeping the RPM around 3 1/2 on an idle) it will run the battery even lower before finally shutting off.
I continually have it on the charger. when initially taking it off the charger it reads about 12.98v (was brand new battery last season). it will not even try to turn over when it gets down to 11.0v which made me think it was the starter switch at first.
checked regulator rectifier contact surface to the frame... looks fine(no cracks).
I do not know how to test the regulator rectifier wires but i put my multimeter up to all 3 combination pairs and the highest was around 9v.
if anyone can help me out pleaseeeeee
feel free!
thanksss
