Default CBR600F3 Relays question

Hi

I'm trying to work out what two relays are in the electrical system of my F3. Here'e a pic of 1 .. they are both identical in look with slightly different numbers.
First is cf318 t.5.5 202 and cf318 071 XXX. Can anyone tell me exactly what both of these are and where about they are located on the bikes loom?

Cheers

@CBR469 One of the relays is the Fuel Cut relay. It's located in front of the ICM and behind the R/R on the right side below the seat. The one in your picture looks like this one based on it's connector location/orientation.

Another relay, which is similar to the Fuel Cut relay is the Turn Signal relay. It's attached to the Fairing Stay behind the headlight.

The 3rd relay is the Air Vent Solenoid Valve relay. It too is located on the Fairing Stay on the left side. It has a 4 pin connector.

Thanks very much for the reply, really appreciate your time.

Ok so ....

Pretty sure I never took the fuel cut off relay out of its little rubber casing so I'm confident that that is in its right place. The Air Vent Solenoid Valve relay is in its right place too (has a blue plastic part to it, I can see that from the videos I shot when i stripped the bike 2 weeks ago so 100% confident that that is right too. The turn signal relay looks like its probably the likely candidate ... however ... (and admittedly the bike isn't completely back together yet) ...

... the rear indicators I wired up today and they work, flash correctly and cancel correctly so I'm a bit bemused. There is one connection by the fairing stay that I haven't been able to identify though. It is a white plug with a 2 pin connector and has brown and brown / white wires coming from it. Its the smaller of two plugs that come from the ignition switch. What goes in to that? The relay thats left over has 3 pins and is (apart from the slight difference in name (CF318 t5.5 202 vs CF318 071 ???) identical to the fuel cut off relay and also has 3 pins so it doesn't fit that connection.

I'm waiting for delivery of a new fuel joint for the carbs (hairline crack that shattered as i refitted the fuel line) so I'm not yet able to test the running of the engine for another week or so. Here's a couple of vids. If you got any further suggestions I am all ears, thank you.

Also a little vid (one of 3 ill make public when its finished) showing the 'restoration' -

Thanks again for your reply

Regards

John

@CBR469 There is only one relay that works with the fuel pump, and that's the Fuel Cut relay which you have in place already. As for that 2P connector with the Brown/Brown White and Brown wire, I can't find any reference to a Brown wire with a White stripe in the wiring diagram at all. Now I'm using documentation from US market F3's. It's possible that in the UK/EU Honda used different wiring colors.

Ahhh ok, yeah i was quite confused, thought there was a relay to cut the fuel off and another to run the pump, clearly that's not the case. All I can think now is that the previous owner left a spare under the rear seat which has obviously confused the hell out of me! As for the white 2 pin connector under the fairing stay ... pff ... one of my first vids seemed to show it as unplugged so I guess I'll assume it is redundant for now and see how she runs when I get the carbs done and refitted. Waiting for parts now but plenty of plastic repairs and paint to be getting on with!

Thanks again for your response, really appreciate the sharing of knowledge!

Have a great evening.

J
