CBR1000RR wheel...can I get this
You are going to have to machine some parts to make it work. You have to keep the rear sprocket in line with the sprocket on the motor. So you have to thin the sprocket carrier so you can move the sprocket closer to the wheel/tire so it stays in line with the front sprocket. And you'll have to do something similar to the other side for the rear brake. Because the wheel is not only wider where the tire in mounted, its also wider where the axle go through it. And on top of all that you have to make sure the rear wheel is in line with the front wheel. And I'm not ever sure it can be done with the CBR1000 rear wheel, I know my 08 cbr1000 has a 6 inch rear wheel. Its been done with cbr 900 rear wheel though, they are 5.5 inches wide. Way too much trouble if you ask me.

Thanks for the quick reply frank...like you said, more work than it's worth. I'll keep my eye out for a 900 wheel, but I'm pretty certain it ain't gonna come to me for free!
