CBR troubles
Hello everyone, I have another mystery. I swapped out my fuel hoses, put in a new fuel filter, added a fender eliminator, and a new windscreen. I also tried to adjust my choke but I was unsure on how to do that. So when i got it all pieced back together the Idle was wild. It started right up at 3500rpms then would dwindle down to 2500 rpms then to 1000rpms and then it would die. Then when i would try to restart it I would have to give it tons of gas and the same thing would happen again. I rode it around, and it rides fairly smooth, but when i finally got back home from going around the block it died after pulling in the clutch. My choke is acting odd as well, when i turn it on, it kills
the bike. I thought the choke was supposed to enrich the fuel thus making the rpms higher along w the idle. I messed up somewhere.
Also when I was doing all of this work i pulled all of the air filter prefilter pieces off and used a bike pump to blow air through them to make sure they were clear. Air passed through but very well could still be gunked up.
Thank you everyone for you help in advance, ive been having a hell of a time. All I want to do is get out and ride

it's possible that some gunk may have came off the old fuel lines and clogged up the carbs.
But your idle should be set to 1200 for for normal type, and 1500 for cali type bike. what did you set yours too? mine is a 49 state type and I still have to set mine to around 1400 to idle correct..
set it once, ride about 10 mins and set it again.
Try this
