CBR Fireblade 1999/2000 Master cylinder on F3?
Any idea if master cylinder from Fireblade 1999/2000 would fit F3? Basicaly need to know if brake lines and the main banjo bolt would fit the brake cylinder?
Cheers

I am front brake kinda guy and I live and die on the front brake and IMHO the F3 MS is out dated and in serious need of improvement, so
I installed a front master cylinders from a GL1800 Goldwing on both the F3 and my Honda XR426R Supermoto.
The GL1800 resivore hold more fluid than the F3 unit plus the 1800's brake lever is fully adjustable and the 1800 unit is brushed aluminum which I polish to a nice shine instead of using the old painted F3 unit, plus I like the feel of the GL MS over the F3 unit.
And yes, Honda uses the same thread and pitch count on their banjo bolts from bike to bike so a banjo bolt off the 2003 GL1800 will work on a 1987 CBR600F1.
It would not be cost effective for Honda to use different banjo bolts on certain bikes.
I have found over the years when wrenching on Honda's that the company uses parts from one bike to the next from year to year and the banjo bolt is just one item that Honda has used on just about every bike that has disc brakes.
So yes I would bet that the fireblade MS will bolt on with out any problems.
