Hey all, newbie here. Can anyone tell me a good place to source fairings? A few years back I got some Chinese ones from eBay. They looked good but the plastic was quite brittle and bolt holes and tags have since cracked or broken off. Plus some of the fairings were just slightly off from where they should have been.
The original plastic fairings seemed to be a lot more flexible and user friendly and I was wondering where I could find some that were the same type?
One option is to get old fairings and repaint, but I'd like a whole set if possible.

Reason: Spell check
Complete sets of OEM are pretty hard to come by. Your best bet for any OEM fairings in my experience is eBay and sometimes Craigslist.
I agree with Hamlin6 on this. Create a saved search on ebay for each of the fairing parts you're looking for. As long as the tabs are still intact and no major damage, they should be repairable and then painted. Anything from 1995 to 1998 will be exact fit. Good luck.
Here's before and after of my wife's F4i.
Prepped for paint.
Base color applied.
Decals applied
Great job, did you do the painting yourself?
As it happens I have exactly the same model, do you remember what the paint code for the Base Colour is? Playing on the Twisted Sisters (TX Hill Country)
No I didn't paint it myself. A friend of mine did. However, he did give me a small pint can of the paint with the paint code written on it. I remember telling him that a web site called ColorRite. I don't recall if I purchased it or he looked it up in some database. But the color code hand written on the paint can is YR-183M. I recall him saying he didn't have to make any adjustments to it.
You can search all the paints here. https://www.colorrite.com/
Great, thanks for that, your friend did a really good job.
Yes he did. He owned his own body shop in Miami for 20 years during the 80s and 90s. He retired, but still gets back in the booth when the mood strikes him, or he's helping a friend in need... lol.
Here is more of his work from my wife's F3 after she dropped is practicing slow maneuvers in a parking lot. We bought a Rebel 250 for doing slow speed practice after. Who cares if we drop that.
Battle scars from dropping in parking lot. Before putting decals back on after paint Yes, that's my old CBR 1000F in the reflection After paint, decals and installing frame sliders. LOL, yea I know, hind sight is 20/20.
Fantastic Job, I also feel your pain as I had to get the RHS fairing painted for a similar issue!
I still can't get over how much the stripes cost.... esp when I have to get them shipped to the UK as I cant get the yellow F4i stripes over here.
Well, it looks like I'd be wrong about that. Ron Ayers has always had great pricing and they've stayed that way. Looks like PartZilla has gone the way of BikeBandit with their pricing.
