Carb sync rental?
Does anyone know where I could rent a carb sync tool, Ive seen the threads on how to make one but Id like it to be perfectly accurate. Or would anyone let me borrow/rent theres?
The problem with my bike is it revs up ok but slowly revs down and someone said the carbs might just need synced, any ideas?

RE: Carb sync rental?
Where are you located?
if you do rent one, I would suggest the mercury filled lines type. thats the type I have as apposed to the dial type. I've found the dial type to not be very accurate between themselves. the mercury ones pull mercury up the lines from the same bowl so you know the vaccum of each carb. If the dial ones are off just a bit, you wont know it. Its just personal prefference, but I've had bad luck with dial ones. Granted, they were probably cheap units, but I think even expensive ones will not be accurate.
I would check just about any dealership wether it be motorcycle or snowmobiles. Motorcycle dealerships will more than likely have the 4 carb set up that you need. Call and talk to the mehcanics. Most mechanics have thier own tools so you would need to ask them personally and it would be up to them if you can borrow it or not.
