Question carb removal

Some background-it has sit for over a year and the floats are stuck closed on carbs 3 and 4...
I got everything out of the way and loosened already...
So my question-is there an easier way to pull the carb bank out besides just pulling with all your might?... cuz it's not moving what so ever

Try using a pry bar, either wood or metal. Just be careful where your pry-points are,
so you don't break things. If you get a rocking motion going, they will pop off.
As with all things, where a great deal of force can be required...Watch those knuckles!

Good luck, Ern

I removed the carburetor bank today but on a 1000 f - should be the same approach.
Used a block of wood as lever like this, gently pushing from side to side.
(thanks hawkwind)

to anyone else that has this issue... spray the boots with WD-40... it will soak into the rubber a lil bit and allow it to loosen up... the boots on mine were so dry they had the consistency of plastic almost
