Hello, I've got a 1996 cbr600f3 (aside: not sure if its SJR but its the yellow and purple one?) Anyway, just finished cleaning the carbs and put em back on, but I've got this one hose which appears to be some sort of breather because it just ends with the opening facing pavement. Its routed through with a bunch of other breathers (I think, might be wrong terminology here) and its got this little clip on the clutch side of the frame. Hope these pictures work:




the top end has a clamp on it so I figured it's gotta connect to something! Shoulda taken pictures while taking the darn thing apart in the first place.

I don't have an F3, so I'd be guessing.
You could download a manual or look at a parts diagram and see if you can tell.
One of the F3 guys should be along shortly.

The hose that runs out the bottom of the bike is more than likely a drain tube for the fuel tank.

 

where does that hose lead to? the bigger hose in the picture is what is suppose to set in the little clip on the frame.

 

Ohhh ok. I laid it down last summer and it must've bent the clamp into tricking me it wouldn't fit. Got the big hose in there now. Found where the renegade hose connects I'm pointing to it in the second picture:





Here it is up close (its the hose on the bottom):

 

That's a coolant hose. Find a place that it reaches that has coolant in it.
