Can the F3 break loose over 70mph?
Today while riding on my friends private track, at about 70mph I dropped down a few gears (One more than I should) and punched it. The bike jumped to life and was accelerating hard, when all of a sudden, the RPM went way up and the acceleration reduced, so I hit the next gear and I continued accelerating fine.
My question....
Does the F3 have enough power to break the rear tire loose at speeds over 70mph? If not, my clutch had a major intermittent slip-up!

Pacemaker,
Thanks for your response, but I don't think you understood my post.
I was trying to say my bike rev'd way up at the end of winding out a gear.
At which point my engine rpm increased as my acceleration decreased.
This was not a rev limit scenario, it was either a clutch that broke free for a second and started to slip, or it was caused by my back tire breaking traction (Burn-out).
I was wondering if anyone has ever got their CBR to burn out when traveling over 70mph?
If not, I will look into a new set of clutch plates.

I totally know what your talking about, i noticed this the other day it sorta revs out quicly for the last few thousand rpms before the red line but you dont feel some major acceleration that you would expect...
