just a quick question, i bought f2 plastics because they were priced crazy 50 bucks for it all! will these bolt on to my 95 f3?

 

a full set will, but you will need the correct bracket for the tail, the correct seat and the fairing stay.

 

Yes and no. The fairing stay on the F3 is slightly different than the F2 so the F2 upper may not fit to the F3 stay. My 96 had an F2 stay on it when I got it. I had to change the stay because they were slightly different.

The tail and bracket didn't change till 97 & 98. 95 &96 tail were the same as the F2 tail.

also the headlight, i have the headlight that goes with the f3 and it seems far too small to fill the f2 front fairing is it in fact different on the two bikes and if it is can i use an f3 front fairing with f2 sides? and this may sound stupid but what is a fairing stay?

 

The F2 and F3 headlights are different thus so is the plastic surrounding the light, The F3 light wont work right in the F2 fairing BUT if you use a F2 headlight you'll be ok. Look at the difference between the two on the drawings below.
The fairing stay is the metal bracket (item #15 on drawing) that bolts to the front of the bike that the upper fairing, windscreen and mirrors bolt to. Notice the slight differences between the two.
Also the windscreens are different, note that in the drawing.
