Thanks. There's not really much to write up, but I'll find out what tools, etc. we used (I don't have a clue, something that hooked up to the air tank) and I can put up a pretty crappy before pic tonight after work.

I've trimmed my tail some but want to cut more away. Thanks for inspiring.

Below are before and after pics. I use the term "we" loosely here, my boyfriend and his dad did most of the work, I loosed and tightened a few bolts. ![Icon Angel](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_angel.gif)
We used an angle grinder to cut just under where the reflecter is on the fender. Then, for the license plate holder we picked up a square of aluminum from Lowe's and cut it just smaller than the plate, with a tab on the top that we bent back to bolt into the tray where the taillight wires sit. The tab had to be a little bit thinner than the plate to fit into the plastic, but we cut it big enough to put three bolts through. We used a different grinder to smooth the corners of the metal and spray painted the front of it black (which you can't see since the plate covers it). I did take a pic of the finished piece before we put it back on the bike, but it's a really bad cell phone pic and you can't really tell what you're looking at anyway.
So heres the before and after, if anyone wants more detailed pics PM me and I can try to take some...
