Default Bye bye whale tail

So my bike finally saw some sunshine today. (No, I didn't ride, the boyfriend took it to the Honda shop to get the tires changed... grrr.)

Anyway, we had to do it quick during the lunch hour but I was able to take a couple half decent pics of the new taillight and plate holder.

Last week we took off the fender and cut off the bottom, leaving the underseat storage, etc. You can see the holes where the reflecter was right under the light. Then for the plate holder we picked up a square of aluminum and bolted it up underneath. I think it ended up pretty good, just wanted to show it off...

Looks good! I bought tail off ebay that someone had shaved. Was disgusted when I discovered the difference between the 95-96 and 87-98 tails

Got an undertail now. One of these warm days I'll get around to installing it

Very nice looking.

I wanted to do something like that to mine, but I couldnt find any pics of the undertail kits people were selling.

If you can you should do a write up, or at least before and after pics.

Because I like it better that way. It could go either way, I just think it looks better tucked up more.
