Brake fluid everywhere.
well after a nice ride back home from the theather yesterday after watching harry potter. i found my rear brake pedal Really mushy and soft. litterally right when i got home.. i found out that my line and ruptured from rubbing againsted the tire.. i don't know how it rubbed aginsted it. seeing as it is nowhere near it. and is also held away with a ziptie and even attempting to push the line twords the tire will only be futile as it isnt long enough. iono doenst make sense.
anyways oil all over my rear tire. i need to replace it's line. does anyone know a reprituable company that can re do my rear set brake lines. or is there any vendor here that sells some. some nice stainless steel ones would be cool.
i know when my RX-7 oil lines blew up i had bought some new one from mazdatrix for a pretty penny. but i found out someone locally to me had the same problem. he had a shop that hydrolicly pressed in new lines using his original fittings at 1/10 the price of what i paid.
anyone in the local socal area know any kind of information about this?

i really like galfer ss brake lines. the oem lines can rupture and your lucky that all that brake fluid didnt cause you to dump your bike.
so looks like its time for an upgrade

You use rear brakes??
FWIW, you will never figure out how the line rubbed on the wheel unless you have someone your size sit on it while you are looking. You may also have to add even more weight because of what happens with bumps and acceleration.

blade, same thing happened to me on Thursday on my way home from work. like you i am looking to replace it. to be honest i don't know if putting ss lines on the rear will make that much of a difference, due to how infrequently we use them. post it up if you find a cheap place with an oe, or oem lines. ill do the same.
when i suggested he get SS lines i meant he replace his fronts as well as the blown out back ones. after time the oem lines turn to **** , so sooner or later he will have to replace his front anyways
