Can you be more specific, Are you trying to give it the berries without being in the right gear?
If you keep your revs on the boil (4000rpm) in any gear, you should not have any problems, if you say, put in 6th and are just punting along at a low speed, then there ain't going to be much happening when you hit the throttle. Reponse is slow until you start getting toward that 4000 power band. This is the same with any 4 cylinder sports bike to a greater or lesser degree.
There are a few solutions to change reponse at lower revs, but usually at the sacrifice of top end power & speed.
There are a lot of bikes out there that can hobble along at 5 mph in top, and then thunder away with bugger all revs, with a twist of the wrist, but their motors are all bottom end and run out of puff when your 600 in hitting it's stride.
Maybe a good tune up and keep practicing on those gears changes is all you need.

I assume you meant it is bogging in first gear, I have a similar problem and I have come to the conclusion that carburetors need to be adjusted, easiest way to do that is bring it to a shop and they'll do it for under 300$ Should be about 200, dont let them sucker you into a higher bill.

ya its in first at the take off. sometimes it will bog so ill give it barely a little more gas and it will suddenly get a burst of power... but if i dont give it gas it will have a slow gain in rpms but only until above 4000. after that it will have good power with no bogging... but ya ill take it to a shop and see what they tell me
