body work stupid question

ok first off the only jap sportbike i have owned was a 03 alstare gixxer 600 till now. i keep looking for body part for my 98 f3 but have found that they changed the f3 abaout mid body style? what did they change? (oh and feel free to make fun of me for not konwing i can take a joke but can you????????)

From what I know so far, if you have a '98 you'll need to stay with the same era (1997-1998) for tail plastic and for the front you can go back as far as 1995 or maybe even F2 (back till 1992-3?) You can tell how the tails are diffrent if you look at some pics. The older style had a more square tail light and had two vents by the tank where our 97-98s have a smooth rounded tail light and one larger vent by the tank. Hope this helps!

Everything on the F3's is interchangeable, however the differences are that the 95-96 seat and tail plastic is different. You can even swap them so long as you use the trunk kit off of the respective bike as well.
The 97-98 seat is more comfy and the tail plastic and tail light is updated and looks much better.
