Just so you know most fearrings off of ebay especially the respol you will have to do some mild modding to get the fearrings to fit properly. My friend had gotten the respol set for his 98 F3 and needed to do some alighning and molding of his own. The screw holes do not line up and lines do not match up if you use the holes they give you on the body set from ebay. You will have big gaps between each body pieace, and for the tail section all F2 and F3 bikes have the 3 pieace tail section. All my clips broke on my tail soI modded a brack that holds them together. If you do a serch on my subjects thatI wrote you will see pix of howI made my tail stay together at all times even on wheelies it stays together, but unless you decide to do a f4I tail section, you do not have any choice on the matter of having a 3 pieace tail section! On the ebay thing if you just want to slap on fearring just like that with no work involed go with some one selling fearring that have been fitted or some ones old fearring in good condition because the ebay store brands (new) are crap do a serch on here about ebay fearrings. by the way i cant get my uncle to make any more so if you are asking if you can buy these after seeing this thread the anser is no not right now but im working on it.

I posted kind of the same questionlater then this, and just noticed you are looking at the hong kong fairings also.
From my research, the front parts of the fairngs will fit from 95 to 98, but 95 and early 96 basically have the F2 tails fairings (this in my problem i have a early 96) late 96 to 98 have the newer f3 tail fairings, like the fairign kits available from hong kong.
talking to a local "non-Honda" part dealer, he checked on the microfiches of parts he hasthe new f3 tail won't fit the older f3 tail withoutdoing any modification, he said it looks like the the bolt patterns don't line up. i 99% the guy was being straight with me, butcan anyone comfirm that?
you may have 98 fairings on it, but the rear was painted to match
