does anyone know if a 180 tire will fit on a f3? i was told it would fit on the stck rim but iono if it will clear the singarm and chain. does anyone know? or have tried it out?

 

i would recommend a 170.
the 180's profile warps the tire on the rim.

 

damn...that sucks, cuz i already bought the tires.haha they were on crazy sale at cyclegear a few weekends back

 

I wouldnt worry about it, if you cant return them and dont feel like selling them they will work fine, I rode on a 180 all summer. Its just gonna wear down a bit quicker. Handling will be worse in theory but when I have zero complaints except for its really wearing a flat spot into it.

Im gonna buy 170's next time

 

You can go a bigger rim in the back to fit the 180 tire like I am doing. Here is the thread:
