I used to do that with Red Bull cans on all of my dirtbikes. Carried on the tradition with the F3. Everyone always asks about it.

Got the NOS can on mine, people actually think its real NOS.

 

You wouldn't believe the things people think. I actually have a friend who swears that it's a NOS kit and mine is just a Red Bull can. I think that's just his excuse for me waxing him in his 350 though.

I wanna do that but with the black and purple monster can... think a redbull can might look a lil goofy with my colors on the bike.. lol

My boyfriend did it for me... cut up the can with regular scissors and loosened the fastener (there may be a more technical name, but you'd have to ask someone else about that one ), then wrapped it around and tightened the fastener back on. I know he folded in some edges, etc., and we put some electrical tape along the back where it overlaps, but after a day that was hanging off, so I'm gonna stick a cable tie around the end just so it's not hanging open at all.
