Exclamation Bad ECM???

Hello,

My question is what are the symptoms of a bad ECM, i bought a 1996 cbr600f3 from a buddy and it didn't run, he said it one day just died when he parked it and after that when he would try to start it, it would turn over, fire, then back fire and shoot a flame out the pipe and die, I've asked many people what would cause that and most everyone has said valves or carbs, Ive completely rebuilt the motor, top end and bottom end, replaced the carbs and rectifier, I'm starting the bike for the first time this coming weekend and just in case it doesn't run I'd like to be ahead of the game with a few suggestions. Any help or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-
Vincent
