Sorry Don, seems most popular forums get some peeps that have nothing better to do than pick apart everything around them. Don't let a few skeptics distract you, I'm sure Idodirt and Pacemaker alone will have some great footage with their three bikes combined. Feel free to post up any questions you have about these last of the steel age bikes. Also, here's a great review from a local member that is a good informative read if anything else : https://cbrforum.com/forum/stickies-91/cbr600f3-super-review-best-steel-frames-96869/

I just got my first issue of Sport Rider in the mail this month so I'll look forward to reading your review articles in months to come.

Thanks Northern and just to make sure you have the right magazine it is SPORT RIDER which is a USA magazine, I think Sport Bike may be a UK or something else.

Yes I did see the above review and they are great. Lots of good info there.

As for the timing I think I could go as late as the end of August 2009 and still make the deadline.

Thanks everyone

I just went through all the photos that everyone has sent and unfortunantly not too many are usable. A lot of the photos are coming to me at 640-480 or 1080x600 resolution and that is nowhere near big enough for a magazine to print.

I really need somone with a nice looking bike that wants in the mag to send me some nice high res photos. As mentioned before try not to have your truck or garbage can or dog in the backdrop and send the basic info too so I can mention you in the story.

So far I have several F3s but a lot of them are low res and I can cant use and almost no F2s. So if you want to be in the article please try to send me something by the end of August or else it will be too late.

Thanks everyone for your help and send the pics to me at motojournalism@aol.com

Here is a good example of the quality, type of pose and backdrop that is ideal for a magazine photo.
