jbreit,you're such a track snob

Haha, funny.

Bah - I don't know what to tell you then. Yes, I'm going to be pushing myself hard - no I won't be doing it surrounded and on my first lap.

I know how to take a tumble/slide, and for that reason I'm sure I will. I dunno - just the way I am skiing, snoboarding, skating... whatever.

I don't think I need to crash to learn the limits - but I will learn from it. Actually, everytime I tried something adrenaline pumped I wiped out first... and I actually did learn from it every time.

I dunno man...don't worry about it - I don't have a death/kill wish but I do have the inner desire to excel at everything I do in a short time.

take them off if you want to. there's a reason they ask you to tape up lights, take off mirrors and liscense plates, because people DO lay it down. if you want to save your fairings, go ahead. i know a guy that wishes he had done it.

Basically what it comes down to...

Is **** happens. Those same people you speak of have probably layed down before - so you can get off your soapbox like you said and get over it.

I know what you're getting at - but what I'm getting at is that I like to push it. Everything I've ever done. I'm no extreme sports freak - but the first year any of us (buddies and I) got dirtbikes... who was the ramp champ at the end of the summer... ? Me, haha - sorry, I'm just trying to explain to you the type of person I am.

I don't want to frustrate you, but I think I've got the answers I need.

Trakcs don't care as long as the bike passes tech, and I don't need plastics to pass tech. That pretty much solves it.

And no, I don't think I'll skip the track because I think I'm gonna go down. I'm gonna go, I'm probably gonna lay it down and hopefully I don't get asked to leave. If it happens, I won't be the first but I can bet on two things.

I won't be riding in the beginner class at the end of the day and I'm confident the CR's will see some skill desiring to be honed while I'm there.

Don't cry for me Argentinia - I'll be alright. Thatnks for your concern though.
