Default air jet for idle circuit

is it normal for gas to come out of the air jet that connects to the idle /choke circuit? it seems like instead of gas comeing out at bottom it comes out through top. when i finally get it started it really spits out ,intill i let off choke.I read and studied Idodirts write up and choke seems pretty simple and i havnt seen alot of issues of choke not working on this forum. i can spray cleaner through choke circuit and get it throughout circuit so im pretty sure its clean. Has anyone seen this happen or do i have the one in a million carb problem. thanks any suggestion i will sure try!i posted a pick from idodirts write up its the numbered 1 that gas comes out when engine is cranked with choke on. his carbs look better than mine!

Does gas come out of all of all the carburetors like that when the choke is on, or just one or a couple ? Gas coming out those vents would suggest air pressure in the bowl area of the carburetors. Check closely the routing of the vent hoses and vacuum lines.

BTW, the carbs hadn't been cleaned yet, lol.

Yeah all the carbs has spriztes off gas coming out of vents. So this is not normal and could cause faulty choke operation?
