Default Aftermarket Handle bars/Kick Stand help

Has anyone ever used after mareket handle bars on their f2 or f3... my handle bars are a bit out of shape and my right one doesnt even have the mount for a bar end. I came across vortex handlebars. does anyone have any advice or review on them

Vortex is good man. Cant really go wrong there but i have never heard of any doing aftermarket handle bars besides some dirt bike bars on a street fighter.

Maybe its just a bad pic angle but do those clip-ons not have the little "nub" that sticks into the top of the triple forks? Sorry I don't know the technical name for everything but they seem like an important safety feature for our bikes.

I have a set of Vortex clip-ons for my F3. schroncc is correct, they don't have the tab that goes into the top triple clamp. So to install them you have to visually align them. Best way is to align them on top before removing your old clip-ons and mark it in some manner. Then remove the old and put the new on in the alignment.

Tightened properly, they won't move. Or rather if you're putting that much pressure on the bars, you should have already rotated the front tire 180 degrees. One catch is while they come with the allen wrench to attach the bar ends, they don't come with one to tighten them on the fork tubes. You'll need an 8mm allen to tighten them.

ive ridden my friends stunt bike which has "dirt bike" style clip ons. they transfered alot of vibration to the handlebars im aussuming cause they were light weight aluminum, he even had the heavy bar ends on it too. he said stock clip ons had no vibrations and that it showed up the day he put on vortex's

Kuroshio,
Are the tabs only on F3/older bikes? This is my first bike so I'm still learning.

im trying to figure out how it transfers so much vibration and the stock ones dont. is it that little nub that the stock ones have that stops the vibration?

im assuming cause they so light weight, thin aluminum doesn't absorb or dissipate any of it

Hi
I`ve got a pair on Ebay that I was gonna use on my bike, but changed my
mind. Check them out. Think you have to lower the front by 1cm to clamp
them securely. http://cgi.ebay.com/Racing-Clip-ons-...item3efe90a762
Cheers
