Yeah, same here, but I have never found them for much less than twice that.

 

still hunting but they were Honda OEM fairings, 96' for 1200 (quite possibly without shipping) but it was located in cali.

Buying directly from Honda... i wouldnt bet, id agree with you they'd be over 2 grand.

Ill get back to you when i find it, because i was hunting a new front fender.
