Default Acceleration

When I go full throttle I find that the acceleration drops off quite a lot after about 120-130 mph, it carries on accelerating but quite a lot slower is this normal? I haven't had it flat out yet as I haven't found a long enough piece of tarmac, I have had it up to about 145mph in 5th,what sort of top end do you guys get?

Mike

that bike tops out around 150-155mph i reason the bike seems to accelerate slower is because the bike is using more power to push against the wind than it needed to at 60mph. For every action (bike going faster) their is and equal opposite reaction ( wind push against bike).

Very true, I guess the bigger engined bikes don't notice it so much until they reach a much faster speed.

You need to really tuck in to reduce your frontal area. Fluid resistance increases as the square of speed. So if you double your speed, you'll quadruple the wind resistance. At 3x the speed, wind resistance is 9x.

Does it accelerate hard to 170 or does it slow down at about 130?

Sorry to say but your F3 doesn't touch 170 unless you have it geared up the *** and alot of motor work.

F3's are good for a realistic 154mph, not indicated.
