Hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows anywhere I'd be able to get a smokin joes colored seat cover for 97-98 F3's. Mine has gotten pretty faded. I've been restoring my F3 and this is pretty close to the last thing I need. They used to be on a website called second look, but I don't think they're in business anymore.

 

The Smokin Joe edition came with a black seat the same as all other CBR's. Your seat cover is an aftermarket one so I imagine is very rare, albeit a very nicely done one.
The best bet would be to look for an upholsterer than can replicate the seat fabrics to your personal choice. They might even be able to recondition / stain it back to original for you.

 

The 96 models came with the standard f3 black seat. However, the '98 SJR's did come with the exact seat that OP shows in his photo.

They’re pretty hard to find now since Second Look went out of business. Your best chance is checking eBay or Facebook F3 owner groups for a used original, since people sometimes part out bikes. If that doesn’t work, a custom upholstery shop can recreate the Smokin’ Joe’s design pretty closely if you show them reference photos.
