Hi all. I am new to the art of biking and have come accross a weird problem. I was taking a ride home from work. This was at night, so naturally my headlights was on. I then turned on my brights or high beams for a few seconds. When i turned them off, i rode for about 10 meters, then the bike just died. Like totally dead. I then thought that the battery died. I stripped the panels and ran jumper cables from a car battery (car turned off). When I turn the bike on, nothing happens, but when I connect the terminals, the bike turns over, without me doing it. Nothing happens on the cluster, but the bike turns, it doesnt even seem to be getting fuel. Even when i remove the key and connect the jumper cables, then the bike still turns. What did I do???? Please help???? Any advice is appreciated.

 

Ok ok..... The solenoid is messing with me. But now it seems that the battery is shot. It kickstarts fine, but does not want to start with the starter.

theres no kickstart on an f2 or an f3? unless ive missed it, ive got one of each aha
