That bike is rare. I had the chance to buy one once. It had 11,000 miles on it and the dude wanted $6,000. Now I have nightmares about some dude comin on to CBRforum.com and sayin that he picked one up for $1,500. Man, terrible huh?

I too am about to buy a 1996 Smoking Joe edition. They want $4000 for around 4000 original miles! Im going to check out the bike this week. Does anyone know any other websites for this bike? Anywhere I can look for parts? Modifications?
And yes I have searched! Thanks in advance!

Well, I mean, it's an F3...

So just search for parts that way. There are a couple of places that sell replacement stickers/fairings and whatnot to match the OEM scheme... is that what you're looking for?

I found a 98 with under 10k miles. smokin Joe edition. Good deal for $3,200? Some scuffs on the left side tail where it was dropped in a parking garage. Had frame sliders installed before that and nothing else was damaged. Has a semi-matching helmet and a jacket (but is too small). He also had the bike lowered...

sound good?

sounds decent, I would try to take him down a little bit. Smokin joes or not it's still a 98 F3. you could spend a grand more and get a newer, better, faster bike. My friend just bought a 99 or 99 R1 champions edition for $3,600 with 9,800 miles on it. If he doesn't go down a decent amount I would just keep looking bro. But I'm sure there is some Smokin Joes freak out there that would buy it at $3,200 in a heart beat. I guess it just depends on who you are. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
