I am thinking about buying the guy is asking 800 for by what I can tell that is the only thing that is wrong with it. I will like to know a few things like how much will it cost to but a new motor and do you think that it is a good buy?

 

You're totally in the wrong forum/section, but whatever....

If it's in good shape, it's a good deal, hell even in not so good shape it's not a bad deal. But you better be good with a wrench, you'll have to either replace the motor, or pull it apart to find out what's wrong with it. That engine shouldn't be hard to find parts for though, Suzuki has had the same basic engine (oil/air cool gixxer engine)in so many bikes since the mid 1980's.
