Default '97 cbr f3

Hello, just recently signed into my account thinking about my bike wanted to check out some builds going on here...I havent taken my bike out in over a year because of a recent problem it not starting. Im going to look into the issue. In the mean time id like to ask a few questions regarding "street fighter" bikes. I like the way they look but i see people doing A LOT of cutting and fabbing the rear part of frames and welding on different frames. Is it possible to "street fighter" a F3 without doing all that to it? I'm very new to this scene so bare with me.

Things Id Like to do:

-Remove Engine Panels
-Replace OEM headlight with Circular Headlight(no Plastics)
-Replace speedo with a digital one

Thats pretty much it, can these things be done and have to the bike look clean and be considered "street fighter"?

You don't HAVE ro cut anything. Most guys do it to make it cleaner looking or to fit other parts. A lot of times those things are all bent up anyway....

If you can strip it down and make it look good to you without modifying it much, then you will have done well.

A streetfighter is, or at least how I see it, the manifestation of the builder's vision and skills. I guess no one can come tell you whether your bike is or is not a fighter. It is said that a fighter is a journey not a destination, and a fighter is never truly finished.

You can do whatever you please with it. Some keep the original tail, some bob it, some swap the tail from a completely another bike like a 600rr or a kawasaki zx7 which is probly the most used. Basically it boils down to what (brackets) you can fab, and what is your budget.

Most fighterers use dirtbike bars, but not everyone. It's your bike do whatever the *bleep* you want. Whether it looks clean or not is entirely up to you.
