does anyone have any experiance with it? Im considering converting my 96 to the 97-98 tail and this would make things easier since its one peice rather then having to go out and find 3 peices. all i'd need is the tail light and bracket.

just wondering if its worth it though i wouldnt want it if it was a horrible fit.


also my bike has this paint job.



how do i match that white color? its kinda a dull plasticy color.

FWIW...That fairing on eBay is not an OEM fairing. The OEM is three pieces as well. 2 sides and a rear center with tabs. The one pictured is aftermarket.

 

i know its not oem that why i said it might be easier since its 1 peice. it is an aftermarket replica of the oem though right?

just wonderin if anyone had these and what their experiance with it was.

 

you may have a slight issue with allighnment, but it should do ok.

 

Seat on the 97 is different, more pointy in the front will have slight gap I believe.

 

oh yeah you will want to change the seat, sorry i thought you had a 97-98 wasnt payin attention

 

I know the parts i need. tail fairing, tail light, light bracket, and seat.

im just wondering if the "factory team" 1 peice tail fairing will fit ok. i dont wanna put down $150 for something that fits like ****.

and im asking about how to match the stock white honda color too.

 

hey man i just got some plastics like that the one peace. They do come only primed and there is some sanding and prep work that will need to be done. the only negative thing i have to say about it is you have to JD weld the front tabs that slip under the tank. but i do like the one peace.
