So i bought this bike a few months ago for 800. It had and still has its issues. im done with all the mechanical stuff now its just cosmetic. ive been toying with the idea of making it a streetfighter, but im not sure. my other option is to put the 09 1000rr race fairings on it.
what do you guys think.?
I just got in the new tank and i painted the old tail black. im going to paint the frame and wheels with either gold/bronze or black.

The 09 swap is prob going to be very involved. The street fighter look will prob be easier....just depends on what kind of riding u like to do. I would go street fighter since I already have the street bike but that's just me.

 

yeah thats what i was thinking. i mean i like the street fighter look because its different. But full fairings are so much more comfortable with less wind resistance. Right now i catch ALL the WIND and i mean ALLL of it!!!

 

Go for the fairings. I like the street fighter look when its done right. No fairings doesnt make it a street fighter imo. The fairings will take a lot more work but thats why i say go for the fairings it will look sick!

 

go for the full faired. street fighter tends to look all too common

 

Plus like you said, it really does suck catching all that wind lol.

 

I'm not a big fan of the streetfighter look, but that's just my opinion, A nice race replica, done well, is always good
