I found a 96 f3 with about 14k on it for $3,000. Seems like a good deal. A side from the obvious stuff is there any problems that the f3's or this year have that I should look for? Thanx!!

 

Good Find. I have a 96 CBR600F3 in red,white, and Black color scheme. The other color for the year was the smoking joes blue and yellow color scheme. If its a different color than above, becareful, that means it was prob crashed and had new plastic put on.

The Cam chain tensioner is know to go bad on these, but luckily itssimple to install. U can even put a manual tensioner on that should last the life of the bike. Otherwise Im not aware on any other problems on the F3

Buy it! Then post up pics! I like this scolor scheme...

 

I talked to the guy tonight.....he said it has never been laid over. But has new plastic....idk....Ill have to look at it. Its red with black f3 graphics I think he said.
