So I bought a new windscreen off ebay,and it did not fit, even though it said 95-98 f3.[:@] I took mine off and I cannot find one that matches mine on ebay. WTF I am soooooooooo confused. I can send a pic of my wind screen to any one I do not know how to post my screen here, but I can email a pic to anyone with an answer.I have no Idea why all these so called 95-98 all look the same and waty different than the one I have that fits my 95 f3. I am waiting for the sellers reply on why it doesn't fit, but I know you guys will give me a answer before some wholesaler will.I willemail youa pic ofboth screens if youthink youcan help Thank you

 

Yeah post up a pic, wots the major difference between the two (side by side). Use one of the free pic hosting sites, then post up a link in here (which they will give you). I kinda suspect that they may have given you a 94' model which where different, but jeez, could even be for a different bike.

 

Does this look like the one you got?, (looked em up on Ebay) Can hear the distributor now, "They should fit"
On mine its tapered toward the bottom, without ripping my fairing off, I'll see if I can track down a "proper" one to compare.

Thanks for posting the pics pacemaker!! The top is the one that fits that I took off, the bottom is the "new" one that is supposed to fit. I am going to tryand fit itagain, but it dit not want to fit the 1st time. Any one else have any ideas?

 

I def know that 95 and 96 are the same. Not sure about newer once. Sorry.

 

I re checked out the fit today.It does not come close. The curves are perfect on mine. If you look at the very top by where it says "targa" that is where the inner black plastic cowl screw hole goes and how it mounts. that is whythey cut around it up there. I do not understand how any other design will fit.Look at the "two tabs with holes" on the new one. What are those for? Are these distributers misrepresenting, or is my 95 f3 different from everyone elses 95? I doubt it I am so confused. I might try and call the original bike owner and ask him, if the forum cannot help me.

How does the Targa screen mount up? there are no holes...

The bolts from the mirrors are supposed to go through the windscreen I believe...

It looks like your "new" windscreens' top tab is bent? Either way, I have no idea... I know my 93F2 windscreen is different from my friends F3

 

well, you say its not even close, and wont fit, so its time to contact the vendor. The guys here on the forum can only do so much, we cant make a miracle and suddenly is fits perfect. Not trying to be a douche, just letting you know.

Contact the vendor Monday and maybe they will acknowledge a problem and fix it.
