Default 95 - 98 tail conversion

I am looking at changing my 95 tail fairing to a 98. I know that the plastics and tail light are a straight swap, but I was wondering if Im going to have to purchase a new seat and fender eliminator kit. Thanks for you help.

the seat you will i'm not sure about the eliminator, i'm sure you can make that work though. But if it a complete undertail you'll have to get a new one.

THE PLASTIC AND TAIL LIGHT IS NOT A STRAIGHT SWAP WITHOUT THE TRUNK KIT THAT CAME WITH THE 97-98's!

I just found out last night. The plastics will not fit together properly without some cutting of the stock 95-96 trunk, and even then - it's not 100%. If you're buying the parts - make sure you get the trunk kit also!

EDIT: Yes, you will need the seat from a 97-98 as well, they are different up front and the earlier F3's seat will not cover the newer sides of the F3's plastic. Fender eliminator as well, I don't have one - but the fenders are different so I'm guessing so.
