Default 600 rr fairings on a 1998 600 f3

I know this is doable from looking around on these boards, but if someone knows, which year 600 rr would be best for the swap, including, seat, headlight, and all of the plastics.

Also, it is almost a direct bolt up, or do holes need to be drilled?

Thanks!

I know some F4 & F4i parts fit our F3s, but i really dont think anything of the RR with the exception of the seat will fit....

Its not that it doesn't work its more are you skilled enough to make it work?? you could basicly put any plastic from any bike on your f3 but it will take lots of work. If i were going to try to use 600rr fairings i would use 03-04 fairings. But you will need more than just fairings. you need fairing stay, some sort of guages, and all 600rr related hardware. And it will absolutly NOT bolt up. Not even close, but you could fabricate your own mounts etc.

Why bother the F3 look great, if you want a bike that looks like a 600rr, then buy a 600rr, I honestly don't see why people do this but then that is my opinion, and if everyone shared my opinions then the world would be a dull place, good luck, but with all the time, money and effort it would be easier justto buy a 600rr.

I see what you're saying, Mike, abd I feel sort of the same. But a lot of people can't just throw some jack down on a $6,000 bike.

You're best bet is to buy some old beat up fairings from whatever bike you'd like to swap it to, and just start checking to see what you're gonna have to do.
