Default 50k and it keeps going and going and going...

I'm the second owner, privileged second owner of my new to me 96 F3 and all I can express is joy. I picked up my F3 at 46k and now have broken the 50k mark without any fuss or hiccups in the two three months I've had ownership, I'm ecstatic. I hope to put myself on another 50k on the F3 with little dismay and much upheaval. Long live the F3!

They are a great bike! They can take a beating and just keep on rolling. Just to let you know. With general maintenance and a slight mod to the charging system, you'll get another 50k+ out of the bike.

What "slight mod" to the charging system are you referring to? The previous owner already replaced the RR with an updated model that has heat sink fins on it.

That would be the one, they're likely refering to.

I just wanted to mention...your enthusiasm made me smile.
It's hip, never lose it.

Default That's what everyone says :)

I'm the third owner of mine, and the only issue I've ever had with it was that R/R problem. But mechanically that thing is rock solid.
