270kmh f3
Shame, Hennessy felt so good about his bike doing 270km/h and now all of us are telling him all this technical muble jumle about how his bike is actualy much slower.
Sorry man!
Doing 270km on the clock is very cool.I agree(even if it isn't the true speed)
I'm sure everbody will agree with me if I say that the F3 is still a very cool bike even if in reality it might not be able to do 270km/h

I've had my bike up to 155mph and I let off only because I was hitting the top of a hill (sometimes cops sit on the other side). Im certain these bikes could get up to 165mph, but like my harcore racer/mechanic friends say - Anything over 100mph the speedos are so off you have no idea how fast you're really going
I have mine up to an indicated 160mph, they reckon any speedo is out by up to 10% and they should never under read. I think mine would get up to an indicated 170 which using the 10% would be 153mph which is what the book says it will do.
i used GPS to check mine and it was off by +10%, meaning when speedo read 70, i was actually doing 63 (7 under), when the speedo read 50 I was doing 45 (5 under).
I just put in a speedohealer, but havent had to chance to get the gps back on there to check speed again.

I followed my mate on 600rr yesterday, he got his up to 161mph on his digital gauge (not sure how accurate they are) I got mine up to about 155mph on the same straight, what suprised me was that he was in 6th at about 120mph and I was in 4th following and yet he was accelerating as fast as me, I wonder how much he would have left me if he was in 4th!!! I leave him for dead on the corners though
