Default 2 Days, 200 Miles

I went on an organized ride today (test ride yesterday). It was about 100 miles total each day. I think I'm just getting too old for this. After about 1 hour, my arms/wrists were going numb. We probably had close to 100 Harleys in front of us sport bike riders. We saw 55 MPH a couple times... staying in 4th gear most of the way. That kind of sucked. It was pretty good overall, though. I also realize after riding with the cruizers, that I lack a cool nickname, like "Iceman" or something... I'm also missing a lot of pins on my leather jacket... ha ha.

Don't hand back behind the Harleys for to long, end with a nick like "Hemorrhoid". You will gradually build up a pain barrier for riding position & once you get above the "Harley can't go fast cos its a they can't" crawl, you actually wind hitting you that takes a bit of pressure off the wrists. Take it from an old fart, the F3's are very comfy compared to the newer breed.

fun when you cant feel your hands, wrists, fingers isnt it??
doesnt matter how fast you go, its just being out there thats a great time.

the hand crampage is heavily outweighed by the pleasure of being on my bike so its very worth it. your not getting old, it gets me and im only 19

..wish i had a cool nickname tho

+1 to getting into the wind. When my wrists start to hurt I crank it to about 75 and sit up. Its like laying on a blanket of air.
