check the chain for rust and slack. check the sprockets for wear and tear. maybe its just me but because i got screwed over on my deal but check charging system if at all possible. (when i bought mine it ran great till about an hour later when it died on the road. turned out to be a bad r/r ). check the tire treads and make sure they've got some miles left in them. otherwise your going to have to drop a few hundred for new ones. you dont want to do that on top of what your paying. and last but not least take it for a test run. most wont have a problem with it, but if he does you might suggest you buy it, take it out for a bit, then if you dont like it bring it back for your money.
Im not saying everyone does it but you will run into a seller from time to time that is trying to sell their not so perfect bike to an inexperienced buyer to get more money than its worth. just be smart about it. If you dont have a lot of experience with bikes you might even think about taking a buddy with you who can help you look over things.
good luck with the buy and i hope you have as much fun with yours as we all do with ours!

When I bought mine I rode less than ten miles home and my bike had already stalled on me because of the dang fuel pump. I was on the side of a main road with no insurance, no plates, and FTP stickers down the side of the bike. Needless to say, it wasn't a good experience. I'd recommend taking it for a test ride where you can get on it and open her up a little bit before the deal is final.

Taking it out for a test ride is not a problem , the problem is none of my buddies ride at all and i dont know jack **** about motorcycle (mechanically) so its gonna be hard but i'll try my best. Hell anyone care to help me out lol ? The bike is located in Cherry Hill , NJ. If youre near the area then i'll just come and pick you up.
