1995 CBR 400 Gremlins-PLEASE HELP
I purchased an 95 CBR 400 with under 10k miles a couple weeks back. The bike had been sitting inside about 12 months but the owner had a dealership go through the bike 12 months back. When we brought it home we dropped in a new battery and some fuel and it fired up. Ran it about 10 miles over the next couple weeks and the bike was doing great. Then over the weekend, my son wanted to ride so he started it up on full choke, let it warm up about 3-4 mins, dropped the choke and the bike cut off. Now we cannot get it to start. Will crank fine but no ignition. Have confirmed the plugs (at least 2) are getting spark. The fuel pump is pushing fuel to the carbs as the bowls have filled up each time I crank. Air flow is fine to the motor and the few times we actually got the motor to run it sounded "weak" for lack of a better word. Short of pulling and cleaning the carbs I am dumbfounded. Would really appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, etc. Thanks in advance.
