Default 190/50/17??

Hey guys. do you know if a 190 will fit on the stock f3 rear?

i bought a combo 120 front and 190 rear on accident. and nobody wants to buy the 190 rear from me...

im not an expert but i read in a different thread that 180 is a big as you can go but if you go to a 180 rear you want to bump up the front tire as well so they match as a pair.

No returns? I would pay the extra to ship it back to get a 160 cause it will make a world of diffrence, plus I'm pretty sure 180 is the max on the F3.

i have a 180 on mine, and there is a little room to spare. But would not try the 190 for performance reasons. The 180 is really to big going thru the sharp curves.

i hear even with a 180 the chain rubs the sidewall

yea, some may. some tires are more flat shaped and some are more rounded off. the metzleri run has a good bit before the chain rubs it.

170 is as large as you should go on the F3.

im not a pro rider that takes curves at really high speeds, i havent noticed a big difference running my 180. only difference i have noticed alot of are the looks. looks sweet.

haha it doesnt rub against the rear tire fender? doesnt look like theres enough space for more then half an inch increase over stock.

anyways, luckily the guy was willing to take the tires back. im gonna go with a 170 rear now
