Default 10 year f3 build

Im asking this question because i dont see many 600's at the strip when i go and run. Theres plenty of 1000's and of course your basic must have turbo busa is always there to scream down the track. But what happen to all the hot-blooded 600's? I know there out there because theres guys like me that get a 600 "it was a f3 for me :-)" and just cant stop tinkering with them to see how badass these bike can be. Ive ridden bigger bikes but its just not as fun racing a 1000vrs1000, thats why i like running my little 600. Riding that thing is a blast plus the challenge of beating a big bike with a smaller 600 is pretty cool too. I got my f3 back in 2000 for a pre-graduation present and when i got it she was wreaked. The kid befor me tried to outrun the cops an planted the bike straight into a ditch...-->bent swingarm"looked like a pretzel" front rim was bent wouldn't hold a tire, radiator was folded like a envelope and the plastics were shattered like a wine glass, but i was 17 and had a dad that was there to help me with a few ideas on how to fix this bad toy. So we bought a swingarm off a ebay, heated up the front rim and pounded it back into place for a tire to pop a bead, and the radiator well surprisingly it works as it is, My dad and i have never replaced the placetics. we also took to old swingarm and cut off the last 8inches of it and welded it to the new one, and we had ourselves a nasty home streatched f3. my dad and i beleave that less is more plus this bike is not a road bike its all for play. We will continue to cut, chop, weld, hammer and do whatever else we can to make this thing as fast and as loud as we can. Im 27 now i got this bike when i was 17 and its been a ongoing project with him and i for the past ten years im sure it will go on until this bike blows up or we get something else "prolly wont happen were broke *** lol". But this past year my gf and i just had a son so im hoping this cbeastr holds up until its his turn to take a run down the strip. So this long rant on a 10 year f3 build was to hopefully spark a flame on some of you guys out there to start a build on a 600. Yes there smaller a bit under powered but if i do what i did with mine with the bare minimum of money/parts/ resources i know someone out there has the money and time to go nuts with one. So who ever reads this thanks for your time and here's a short video to show you were Ive gotten the f3 to run at with the little work Ive done. thanks guys and remember BUILD A 600! have fun be safe.

Post some closeup pictures of your bike. It looks like a power house on the strip

There is no substitute for rider skill for sure. It's the great equalizer.

Very nice, what all have you done to your f3 in terms of performance mods?

Super Street Bike magazine just had a write up on a 2010 ZX-6R that they modded to run the 1/4 mile in the 9's. I couldn't find the full article, but the amount of modification it took was pretty minimal. I'd love to make my f3 that fast (its already faster than many of my friends newer 600s) But its just a street bike for now. lol

Here's a link to the video of the ZX-6R, enjoy

As far as performance mods its bone stock with a home built swingarm and were running strait headers. My dad and i can afford any of the fancy stuff that superstreetbike did to there bike. But i garente that i could run 9s in the qutr mile. We havent spent a dime on hp mods just fixing the swingarm and thats it. Well i did buy a spend a few bucks on a jet kit that i never put in. If there was a way to get ahold of superstreetbike i would like to challange there kawi.

Default 10 Year Build?

Maybe Im missing something here but it took you ten years to build a stretched swingarm? I’m not a hater but I thought your bike was going to be a modded out f3. I drag a stock wheelbase f3 that’s lowered and geared. My friends 04 Gixxer 600 pulls me mid track and up no mater if I get him off the line. There is limitations to the age and weight of the machine. I feel a modded f3 can possibly stand its on with the right rider. But unless your running beginners on 1000's no way.Im going to have to call BS.
